The owners of a home built in 2001 wanted to transform it into an even more comfortable, contemporary and lifetime-proof home. A small side extension makes it possible to create a spacious open living area inside.
A rear extension to the garage creates a generous bedroom and bathroom. Several existing facade openings are enlarged to improve the view and natural daylight.

The home is wrapped in a thick insulation package and finished with white render. Combined with the timber cladding, the home gains a playful, contemporary character.
Throughout the entire design and detailing process, 3D software and virtual reality are used. By walking through the design themselves using a VR headset, the clients gain a clear picture of the designs, making decisions easier.
